Strong brands tend to understand what sets them apart and build around it. At Glynlea Country Club in Port St. Lucie, that identity is taking shape around a golf experience designed to challenge players without making the game feel unnecessarily intimidating. The club serves as the centerpiece of GreenPointe Holdings’ Wylder master-planned golf community in St. Lucie County and features the first course designed by PGA Tour standout and Ryder Cup captain Jim Furyk.

From the back tees, Glynlea plays 6,630 yards at par 72 and includes three sets of hybrid tees. The layout is intended to remain approachable for members, guests and, currently, public play while still providing a meaningful test for experienced golfers.

General Manager JT Symons, whose club is managed by Hampton Golf, explains that the philosophy is less about penalizing every imperfect shot and more about giving golfers a chance to recover. With straightforward holes and opportunities to play different types of shots, the course is designed to keep the challenge visible without relying on tricks or excessive difficulty.
