Buzzing with events, Martin County has an exciting 2023 lineup that’s already growing fast. Between art festivals, fairs and showcases, there is something that will capture the interest of everyone in the family. There’s truly no better way to explore and get to know the area. Check out just a few of the events Martin County residents are looking forward to this year.

Year-Round Events Starting in January

Market on Main is hosted in Downtown Stuart every Sunday morning from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. With a myriad of different vendors, this is a local favorite spot to shop for handmade jewelry, fresh produce, smoothies, and a variety of other goods. Take advantage of the fresh morning air and riverfront views while discovering a new treasure.
Rock’n Riverwalk is a year-long signature waterfront concert series that takes place directly after Market on Main. Located directly on the riverwalk in Downtown Stuart, Rock’n Riverwalk highlights talented musicians in the area celebrating the genres of rock, jazz and country. Enjoy an entertaining Sunday afternoon lounging picnic-style with lawn chairs or on the boardwalk’s mini amphitheater seating.
From now until May, spend the evening at a local food truck festival and indulge in a wide variety of tasty cuisine. With over a dozen trucks, there are all types of foods to entice everyone’s taste buds. Occurring the second Friday of each month, Chow Down Hobe Sound is the perfect place to catch up with friends and meet more locals. The food truck fair takes place during dinner time from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Hobe Sound JV Reed Park.
Every Thursday night in the heart of Downtown Jensen Beach is a mini festival series celebrating local art, music and family fun. Jammin’ Jensen is a weekly highlight for many with local artists and vendors display unique crafts and goods. This community celebration is a great reason to venture to Downtown Jensen Beach and explore the charming shops and restaurants of this mini metropolitan. See for yourself how this lively event brings out the best of this quaint seaside town year-round.

February 2023

Indulge in some good old-fashioned family fun at the Martin County Fair. Enjoy delicious funnel cakes and fresh lemonade among the bright lights of daring rides. Discover a variety of exhibits, including local livestock, arts and crafts, musicians and various entertainment specials. This highly anticipated event takes place at the Martin County Fairgrounds and has emulated community pride for 61 years.

Celebrating its 35th year, ArtsFest is a culmination of vibrant visual, performance and culinary arts. Hosted by MartinArts, this must-see arts spectacular will be held in Gazebo Park in Downtown Stuart. Come explore exhibits and galleries specifically curated with this fabulous festival in mind.
Presented by Stuart Main Street, The Downtown Business Association and Howard Alan Events, this festival is celebrating a quarter of a century. Highlighting the county’s best artists, people can search for one-of-a-kind, eclectic pieces of art within Downtown Stuart. A community embracing the very best of the arts, this festival is sure to be filled with showstopping works of art and craftsmanship.

March 2023

Up for an adventure? The Marathon of the Treasure Coast is a race all levels of runners look forward to, with options for half, full, and relay marathons. The route highlights the charming cities of Stuart, Sewall’s Point, Hutchinson Island and Jensen Beach, providing participants with gorgeous views for every mile. The Marathon of the Treasure Coast is a certified Boston-Qualifying Marathon.
Families who wish to beautify our beaches are welcome to meet at The Nature Conservancy’s Blowing Rocks Preserve Sunday morning to help clean up the shoreline. Volunteers are invited to enjoy a guided stroll through the trails and beaches of Blowing Rocks Preserve to collect debris that has been washed ashore or left behind.
Just south of Martin County in Jupiter, a family-friendly celebration of Irish culture is returning for the third year in a row. The Jupiter Irish Fest on Main Street is a two-day event featuring authentic Irish food and drinks, live music, pipes and drums, Irish dancers, whiskey tastings, pint pulling, hurling, and so much more.
Taking place at the Causeway Cove Marina, the 4th Annual Treasure Coast Ribs & Wings Festival invites food lovers of all ages to enjoy finger-licking barbecue goodies. Although delicious ribs and wings will be the highlight of the festival, the weekend-long event will also include craft drinks, live music, arts and crafts vendors, kid’s rides, and endless fun for all ages.
